OROFINO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT – SEAL COAT PROJECT
S68 CLOSURE NOTICE

Project Timeframe: September 9th – September 17th, 2024.
The project is anticipated to begin September 9th at 6 AM and is anticipated to last 9 days
(weather-dependent) with substantial completion by 7 PM on September 17, 2024. The project
will occur on the runway, portions of the parallel taxiway, and the tiedown apron. A seal coat
will be applied to existing pavements along with new pavement markings. After the seal coat
has cured for 30 days, a final layer of pavement markings will be applied.
A NOTAM will be issued, and the airport will be shut down for the duration of
the project except for rotary aircraft which will be allowed within a designated
area on an empty lot midfield near electrical vault building. NOTAM will include
a north arrival/ departure for rotary aircraft.
