Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that Angie Martini has submitted a variance application to the Orofino Planning and Zoning Commission for City Ordinance 5-9-18 (C). Pursuant to established procedure, Orofino City Code 11-2-16 Variances, the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Orofino City Hall, 217 First Street, Orofino ID. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to solicit public comment and make a recommendation to the City Council on the variance application. The City Council will make a final decision at their regular schedule City Council Meeting on Tuesday, July 23rd, at 6:00 pm in the council chambers at City Hall, 217 First St., Orofino Idaho.
Summary of the Variance Application
The variance application submitted by Ms. Martini is a request to convert the existing Mobile home park to a combined Recreational Vehicle/Mobile home park (145 108th St. Orofino, ID). Pursuant to Orofino City Code 5-9-18 (C) Service buildings (including bathrooms and shower facilities) are required. Ms. Martini is requesting that this requirement be waived. At a regularly scheduled City Council meeting on July 23rd, 2024, the Orofino City Council will review the Planning and Zoning Commission’s recommendation and either accept the recommendation, accept the recommendation with additional conditions or reject the application. The City Council meeting is open to the public; however, the council will not take testimony on the application.
