Prescription Drug Drop Off

The Orofino Police Department is proud to offer a prescription drug drop off free of service. There is a prescription drug drop off bin in Orofino City Hall lobby for use of the public.
This service is to allow for safe disposal of any unused medications. We work in conjuction with the Idaho State Police and the Idaho Board of Pharmacy, to help keep these drugs out of our waterways and out of anyone's hands whom are not suppose to have possession.

Items that are ACCEPTED:

• Prescription Drugs, unfilled prescription slips, pet medications, patches, samples and ointments.

Items that are NOT ACCEPTED:

• Syringes, liquids , inhalers, and bio-hazards.
